BEHAVIOURAL PROFILE TESTING

After evaluation of many Behavioural-profiling products, Winners Executive Recruitment has created an alliance with Discus® and we prefer to offer this behavioural analysis to our clients.

We believe that this model delivers accurate, time efficient and cost effective insight into client and candidates preferred operational styles.

The Discus® profiler provides you with the tools to select people who will fit into your company's culture and to manage them in a way that ensures they reach their maximum potential.  The profiler is built around a number of simple yet powerful, software-based, diagnostic tools, which together with the knowledge of how to apply them, gives you the ability to make people your competitive edge.

fff_00014_O.jpg.rs.jpgDiscus® has a beginning amongst the greats of behavioural studies like, Hypocrites (Humans), Yung (Extravert and Introvert,) and Marston (The emotions on Normal People.) The system evolved from medical terms of behaviour used to describe conditions of the mind in patients and their behavioural patterns, to a test developed by Marston to prove his theory on emotions.

This then introduced Discus®, providing a way to analyse the relationships of 'Innate' (or internal animal behaviour) 'Work' (external modified for working environment) and then the 'Summary' (the adapted behaviour.)  These three spectrums create our behavioural make up and show us the profile most likely used by an individual/potential candidate.

Winners utilises the Discus® Behavioural Profiler to develop a picture of a person’s likely behaviour in the workplace.

The name, Discus® is derived from the four behavioural factors it measures (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness & Compliance) and looks at the combinations of these factors, expressed in a variety of different ways, to provide an assessment of a person’s behavioural style.

The report covers the following:

  • Internal & external profiles
  • Shift patterns, trait analysis
  • Behavioural adaptation
  • Communication style
  • Decision making
  • Organisation & planning
  • Motivation
  • Managing style
  • And style of management required.

A more advanced report can be created to cover guidelines in management, guidelines for development, guidelines in sales, sales style summary, guidelines in service, service style summary, guidelines in technical work, technical style, career directions, relationships, the team, pressure, ambition & development, or a report can be tailored to your needs.

Discus® has many multi purpose functions.  One of these allows for it to be utilised as a tool to produce job profiles of the ideal position requirements, this will maximise job specification compatibility.  The reports include a trait comparison to a persons profile (and against one or more Job Profiles,) enabling an estimation of the candidate’s strengths for a particular role, and can indicate probable training requirements.

Discus® Profiler has the capabilities to be used as a suggestive occupational profiling tool, allowing for the comparison of individual profiles to job specific profiles.  This can provide guidance for the individual at the start of their working life, seeking a change in career or potential training avenues.

Winners are accredited Discus® providers and feature an in depth one on one analysis of results from the behavioural reports.
