John McCaskill – Director

John McCaskill has worked in senior sales and marketing positions with a number of the most significant national Australian companies for the past thirty-five years. During this time he has gained a reputation for problem solving in the oil industry, the automotive parts industry, the textile and softgoods industry and has had a prominent involvement at all levels of the Hardware and Building Industries.As a former General Manager and Director of Parbury Building Products, he is now working in the wider field of management consulting with his own company, Winners Executive Recruitment Pty Ltd.

John has had the opportunity to manage and develop some of the most recognisable brand names in consumer durable products including Stanley Tools, Lucas Batteries, Esky Coolers, Contact Book Covering, Gardena Garden Products, Tontine Bedding Products, Wilsonart Laminate, Donson Tapware, Ideal Standard and numerous other brand names with more specialised profiles. John has managed and developed a number of very professional and highly effective sales forces in Australia and New Zealand.

Academically, John is an Arts Graduate from Monash University and has completed the Graduate Diploma of Management (Marketing) at RMIT. Other completed courses include the well-recognised Managing for Competitive Advantage conducted by AIM and Harvard.

John has a range of experience and expertise in areas covering marketing, planning, customer service and sales force motivation and training. Through his wide experience as a General Manager he is able to develop strategic plans, budgets and pricing / costing arrangements for organisations. He has a particular interest in developing leadership potential at both the managerial and front line levels and he has an extensive knowledge of leadership in sport. He is co founder and Director of Australian Sports Leadership Network, aimed at promoting leadership in sport. He is also an active member of Rotary and has served in various leadership roles in Rotary, at both the District and Club level…this has enabled him to contribute to the community through various programs and initiatives.
